My Traveling Companion

We arrived at home late last night after a week on the road.  Today was a day of rest and reflection, as well as thankfulness that God protected us during our trip and kept us healthy, safe, and happy.  My little co-pilot, daughter, and buddy for the trip was a terrific travel companion.  She is so easy going and enjoys many of the same things as me.  We really had a great time!

She handed me a note she typed up this afternoon, which I'll share here:

Dear Daddy,

I love you with all my heart!!  Thank you for the wonderful Spring Break trip you planned for us!  It has been such a delight to travel with you!!  I will always be there when you need me most!!
